Join us on our LGBTQ+ Heritage Walk through Wolverton, highlighting key venues and landmarks relevant to the history of LGBTQ+ communities in Milton Keynes.Â
During the mid 1970’s Wolverton was home to MK Campaign for Homosexual Equality (CHE) and later the Lesbian and Gay Switchboard. The local LGBTQ+ community found allyship at the local radical bookshop and a community resource centre. By the 1990’s Youthline was based here. You’ll also see the pubs, clubs and venues that were welcoming hosts to queer nightlife and events.
