Express Yourself - Heritage Project Event

‘Express Yourself’ at the Creative Void, under the Old Bathhouse, Wolverton 

The LGBTQ+ community has always created its own style and counter-culture, challenging mainstream stereotypes and pressures to conform. 

On 7th June we will be celebrating this by creating a safe space where we can share self-expression from the past to the present. 

It’s an opportunity to get dressed up ‘as queer as you can’ and for those who want to, a chance to walk the catwalk and show off your style!  

There will also be space to talk about our style choices and what they mean to us. Feel free to bring photos of yourself and past fashion choices to use as a discussion point. 

Our clothing rail will have iconic queer statement pieces to try on. Please dig through your wardrobes, lofts and garages and bring anything along anything you’re happy to share or wear yourself, whether…
