You said what?
Over the last two months we have been talking about the Listening Campaign, and asking you for ideas of how we can make Milton Keynes a better society for the LGBT and wider communites.
This Saturday representatives from Q:alliance will be a attending a meeting with Citizens:MK to put forward all of your concerns and issues and if lobbied for hard enough will then be taken to the Citizens:MK assembly in October, then on to Central Government.
Some of the issues you want us to lobby for change on are:
- Wanting MK to become trans positive not just a begrudged transgender acceptance
- Undiscriminating laws regarding giving blood
- More support services for adults coming out in later life
There are many more and thanks to everyone who contacted us regarding the Listening Campaign. It is still not too late to get your issues down and ready to be lobbied for!
