Kim Davies

She worked for Q:alliance for 3 years, running their youth service provision and training. She is also training to be a person-centred counsellor.
Peter Kingham
Peter graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Administration in 2000 and joined Q:alliance in 2001. He started as a youth group volunteer and help-line operator and then moved on to manage office operations and staffing. He joined the trustee board in 2003 and as Vice-Chair, works on a number of strategic development projects. Peter works full-time as a freelance events manager and has experience working on local projects such as FringeMK and Celebr8MK.
Jennifer Mackie
As a Film and Philosophy graduate fresh out of Southampton University in 2006, Jennifer decided that a glamorous career in advertising would be creative enough to excuse the lack of compassion in the industry. So, after some time of trying to toughen up and having her creativity quashed, she hurled herself into the volunteering arena to ultimately decide her fate. She is now an Outreach & Education Worker for Brook, the young person’s sexual health organisation, and a Youth Support Worker for Q:alliance, spending her days promoting safe sex and happy young people…as opposed to toothpaste.
Tony O’Shea-Poon
Tony’s first career was in human resource management until he saw the error of his ways and began to search for a more meaningful life. Since then, he’s obtained a degree in international studies and worked in the field of equalities and human rights for 15 years. He’s currently Senior Manager, Equality and Diversity at the Open University and is taking a Masters in Human Rights at Birkbeck in London. Tony has delivered diversity workshops with counsellors, police, teachers, youth workers, housing officers, health workers and staff in private and voluntary sector organisations. He’s an advisor to the National Police Improvement Agency and a trustee of StaSS, the Milton Keynes HIV charity.
Gwilym Roberts
Gwilym has worked hard for over a decade in training, community development, youth work, counselling and health promotion; specialising in lesbian, gay, bisexual & trans individuals and communities. He lives in Wolverton with his partner and cat and has enjoyed being the Chief Executiveof Relate Milton Keynes for the last 4 years, building stronger relationships in the city. In his spare time, Gwilym enjoys organic gardening, partying and corn on the cob. His voluntary work includes being a trustee of the MK Council for Voluntary Organisations (CVO). He is passionate about supporting professionals to work better with queer youth and adults and believes that learning is easier when it’s simple, interactive
