A message from the Electric Picture Palace…
Vagabond Cinema is a new project for Milton Keynes, a mobile community cinema bringing a lively programme of films to a range of surprising local venues. You might have caught us showing Buster Keaton’s “Steamboat Bill Jr” at St George’s Church – and on June 20th we’ll be showing “Spirited Away” at Madcap.
We’re aiming for a mix of old favourites, silver screen classics, cutting edge art house, cult rarities, and children’s cinema. This is a precursor to a longer-term project, THE Electric Picture PalacE, which aims to set up a permanent independent cinema venue in Wolverton, in the old 1911 picture palace building.
