FFLAG (Friends and Families of Lesbians & Gays) is a helpline set up to support the friends and families of lesbians and gays, bisexual or transgender people. The helpline is run on a voluntary basis, answered by the parents of gay children. FFLAG is a continually growing national voluntary organisation and registered charity with 18 telephone helplines across the UK and parents’ groups which hold regular meetings.
The helplines are there for any one who has concerns over the sexuality of their family member or friend, where they are able to voice their fears, frustrations and joys. Where they can speak to some one who is coping, who understands and accepts their child’s sexuality.
