This event allows charities and other organizations that are interested in the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans-gender and Questioning) community to present what they do, seek support, sponsors and volunteers and coordinate their activities.

The event this year combines healthcare, politics and spirituality presentations and an exhibition. In the afternoon, we have a debate in which key members of the community will be able to answer questions, including Peter Tatchell, the human rights activist and Iain Stewart, our local MP (Con).

Late afternoon, we have a film, presented in collaboration with Vagabond Independent Cinema called “House of Boys”, which is a film about life during the original outbreak of AIDS in the early eighties.

The evening is a cabaret evening with “Candy Slam”.

The event is being sponsored by Q:alliance’s HIV prevention project, the MK Community Foundation,  Pink Punters & Celebr8 MK – other sponsors are still possible. The role of the sponsors allows us to have an event that is completely free and open to all. However, the sponsorship deals do not cover the full cost of the event and we are still trying to raise funds, in particular through the website:

As there is a temporary matching fund, we would appreciate donations to this fund (including new sponsorship deals, if you are interested – or know anyone who might be) as soon as possible.
