About Us
Q:alliance is a registered charity which provides and enables information, support, representation and fun for all Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people who live, work or play in Milton Keynes.
Our direct services currently include a specialist LGBT youth group, a counselling service which adheres to BACP guidelines, training to external organisations, and an innovative communications service. We also provide representation for LGBT communities on numerous working groups and strategic partnerships and provide an avenue to directly canvas the opinions of local LGBT people.
We also love a good parade and are fully involved with Celebr8 – The Milton Keynes Diversity Parade every year.
We don’t run adult social groups, but we do promote groups that meet in the area on our Information page. In addition, if you want to set up your own group we can help you start things up, find somewhere to meet and even signpost you to other services that can provide funding, volunteers and help with promotion.
